Jaybird Vista Experience

PITCH DECK

Jaybird hosted an epic experience for influential runners in Glacier National Park to support the launch of their latest and greatest earbuds, Vista. Titled “NEVER GO QUIET,” this immersive three day experience challenged a small group of athletes, influencers, and media partners to push their mental and physical limits while bonding with each other and the brand. I had the pleasure of art directing both the pitch and the project, creating an immersive presentation experience as well as a range of collateral items. My creative approach was simple but challenging: get out of the way. The new Vista earbuds were all about getting completely immersed in the experience and I wanted the design to reflect that.

Welcome Email

Welcome Email

The first point of contact for the participants was an email from the Jaybird team. Initially we suggested a plain text version but Jaybird wanted something “designed” with imagery. I created this layout to feel as direct and personal as possible with an immersive super long scrolling image. The email itself presented an invitation for adventure into the branded unknown, revealing clues about the experience but not the actual location.

SEED KIT

The welcome email was followed by a physical seed kit. I used photography of Glacier National Park to create an immersive unboxing experience that hinted at the location. Each kit included items they would need on their trip — a branded bandana, phone charger, and dry bag as well as a USB stick with further instructions and a packing list.

Onsite Items

ONSITE ITEMS

Participants were welcomed to the campsite with a bundle of branded items including Vista headphones (of course), an enamelware mug, Luminaid lamp, and Rumpl blanket. I kept these items unified with other onsite branding by using only black and white with a single graphic—a topographical map of Glacier National Park.
